Responsibilities
• Supervise and develop assigned staff• Design and develop programs for service improvement• Develop and monitor clinical dashboards and quality metrics• Contribute to the implementation of the department's strategic plan• Develop policies, procedures, and treatment guidelines• Identify and resolve unsafe conditions and inefficient work processes• Coordinate services with other departments to facilitate continuity of care• Coordinate education and training of pharmacy students and residents• Participate in lecturing, teaching, and research• Promote diversity and a culture of inclusion
Requirements
• BS or PharmD in Pharmacy• 2+ years of hospital pharmacy leadership experience or residency training• Proficiency in clinical pharmacy practice• Communications skills (written and verbal)• Contemporary practice of pharmacy• Licensure in the State of Oregon• PGY-2 in specialty area and previous experience in specialty area• Publications in peer-reviewed journals or presentations at pharmacy conferences• 2 years of precepting and lecturing experience or ACPE accredited teaching certificate• Certification or Fellowship in specialty area, if available
