Clinical Nursing Professional - Inpatient Nurse

Clinical Advancement Program (CAP) : Join our team at UNM Hospitals and work towards one of five CAP levels that offer increasing compensation depending on your nursing education and national certifications. You may earn up to $8.00 in addition to base pay. Sign-on bonus and relocation reimbursement are available.Differentials : Receive 17% weekday nights, 26% weekend nights, or 15% weekend day shift differentials.Department and Location : Join our inpatient 5th floor team at SRMC.Position Summary:

Provide direct nursing care within the nursing process, assume relief charge duties when designated, and serve as a role model to promote positive work environment and quality patient care. Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures. Patient care assignment may include Neonate, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult and Geriatric age groups.Qualifications:

Program Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program. Valid RN license in NM or as allowed by reciprocity agreement by NM. Basic Life Support Certification required within 30 days. Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification required within 6 months. Basic Arrhythmia Certification required within 1 year.Experience:

No minimum experience required.Physical Conditions: Heavy Work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects or people. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work.Working conditions:

Significant hazard: Chemicals, Bio-hazardous materials require PPE.
