Qualifications: Educational Preference: High School Diploma or GED, clinical certification/licensure or be willing to obtain within 6 months of hire.Experience: At least three years within a clinical setting, plus experience administrating or using an EMR Choose an item.
Additional requirements / comments / education / experience / skills, registration or certification: On-call duties will be required at times depending on staffing and projects occurring at a given time.
Description of Job: 1. Identify clinical workflow issues to identify solutions in an effective manner to fit clinical needs.
2. Support and train users in individual or group sessions on updates or general use of medical applications.
3. Work with clinical providers to ensure that applications are meeting the needs of both them and their office staff.
4. Communicate with multiple vendors to address applications issues and ensure requests are being taken care of promptly.
5. Support clinical departments by providing support and troubleshooting assistance.
6. Recognize technical issues within organization's applications and work with technical members of IT department to fully address concerns.
7. Maintain communication with all clinical and organizational leaders to ensure optimal functionality within our clinical areas.
8. Manage projects across the organization for implementation of new clinical applications and/or modules
9. Work collaboratively with the IT Director and IT Manager, and participate in all training and meeting requirements
10. Promote responsible usage of clinical applications and efficient workflows within the department and organization
11. Responsible for any other duties and/or responsibilities as required by IT Director and/or other IT Department manager.
