We are currently in search of a Clinical Educator. This role offers remote work with approximately 50% travel, including occasional overnight stays during the week. As a Clinical Educator, you'll serve our customers in the South and West service districts, encompassing Eastern TN, SW VA, NC, and SC.
The Clinical Educator will collaborate with our Service team to implement the Awareness program, while also nurturing relationships with healthcare and retail customers to advocate for the cost-effective and appropriate utilization of linen. Utilizing every opportunity for networking and relationship-building, you'll be a vital part of our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Foster relationships with healthcare customers to promote cost-effective linen use.
Support District Service Managers and Customer Relations Specialists with educational needs.
Develop and deliver educational programs and materials for Linen Awareness.
Utilize diverse teaching methods to engage learners effectively.
Conduct customer facility audits and provide detailed feedback and recommendations.
Participate in hospital meetings to share linen data and education.
Assist in organizing and conducting plant tours.
Stay informed on current research, trends, and best practices in education and healthcare.
Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited nursing program, with a preference for BSN.
Active and unrestricted RN license in current state of practice.
Minimum 3 years of RN experience.
Experience in clinical education or teaching relevant clinical content.
Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional strategies.
Basic understanding of infection control procedures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
