Responsibilities
• Prepare examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and stocking necessary supplies• Escort patients to examination rooms and assist in taking their medical history• Measure and record vital signs• Prepare patients for procedures, surgeries, and treatments• Perform basic wound care, dressing changes, and suture removal• Assist in cast application & removal• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care• Schedule patient appointments, surgeries, and follow-up visits• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR)• Handle phone calls, inquiries, and messages promptly and professionally
Requirements
• Medical Assistant, EMT, ATC• Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred• Problem-solving and workflow management skills required• Professional attitude towards patients and excellent working relationship with other personnel involved in patient care• Excellent critical thinking skills, ability to work independently, and manage time effectively• Computer and EHR software proficiency
