Responsibilities In accordance with the St. Vincent Health System mission and core values, the licensed practical nurse will perform care requiring specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills.  The LPN uses patient care skills, teamwork, meets practice guidelines, and follows clinic specific policies and regulatory standards, under the supervision of the clinic physician.
Uses appropriate knowledge and skills in the care & interaction with customers across the age continuum. Performs care according to hospital / departmental policies & procedures. Assists physician in administration of patient evaluation according to hospital policy. Accurately records subjective information and vital signs. Attentively listens to the patient's chief complaints and incorporates them into the record. Records patient allergies and medication incompatibilities. Calls attention of physician to special needs of the patient. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
Active, unencumbered Practical Nurse license
BLS required prior to hire
