Nursing Recruitment is looking for an undergraduate or graduate student to perform basic office work including answering phones, typing, filing, scanning, special projects, scheduling of interviews and other responsibilities as assigned. This position will work between the hours of 7:30am and 5:00pm, Monday-Friday. Flexibility on days and hours worked. Up to 20 hours per week. We are looking for candidates that will be available over the summer and some holiday breaks.


Responsibilities : Professionally communicate relevant matters with recruiters or nurse managers
Collaboration with recruitment colleagues and new hires to complete required components of hiring process
Assist in facilitation of nursing new hire orientation
Coordination of scheduling candidate interviews
File management
Clerical responsibilities such as answering phones, filing, scanning
Miscellaneous project as assigned
Required Skills : Excellent customer service and critical thinking skills
Skill in operating office equipment
Ability to communicate effectively with staff, students, and the public
Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Ability to learn and perform clerical procedures
Knowledge of office software programs such as Microsoft Office


Must be currently registered as an undergraduate or graduate student at the University of Iowa.
