*We are looking for a Private Process Server(s) - Rutherford County, TN - must live near the county/counties listed (preferably within 40 miles) ProVest is one of the nation's largest legal support services firms, providing service of process and related services to many of the country's most notable law firms and financial institutions. We serve thousands of documents each year - ranging from foreclosure and collection proceedings to litigation and civil complaints.
ProVest has been in business for 30 years! ProVest has two sides of the business: PVLS (ProVest Litigation Services) and PV (ProVest):
· PVLS utilizes both a desktop and mobile app (PVLS Mobile); case types are collections and some garnishments.
· PV utilizes both a desktop and mobile app (PSO Mobile); case types can range from foreclosures, small claims, collections, and out-of-state cases.
We are looking for self-reliant, results-driven, personable people to work as independent contractors delivering legal documents.
The key to success in earnings is simple: Be organized. Plan your route daily Be pleasant and personable with the people you meet and to whom you deliver documents. Have a reliable vehicle, with a driver's license and auto insurance Have a smart-phone that allows you to download our free software apps (PVLS Mobile and PSO Mobile) Additional information/requirements We are all about honesty and accuracy. ProVest provides service of processes and related services to many of the country's most notable law firms and financial institutions.
· Must activate cases within 24 hours of receiving them
· Attempt all cases (at minimum) every 72 hours
· Able to commit 3-5 days (including a weekend) to attempting/servicing ProVest cases
· Must be able to return civil warrants to clerk's office, within 5 days of the service date
· TN is original files only - what you have is all we have to service. If you are unable to service the ProVest files, return them to the location of the FedEx label (we would provide you)
· Paid on services completed (served/non served) $25.00 per defendant (collections) and $20.00 per defendant (medical)
· This is a contractor position (1099), not an employee (W2)
· Have daily access OR ownership of BOTH a printer and scanner (scanner apps are allowed)
Private Investigators, process servers, law enforcement agents are preferred *** You will have a designated TN liaison to assist with all operational questions and concerns. Original cases will be mailed to you - to attempt service. You will be classified as a 'non-local' server, meaning you do not have to go into our TN offices as you are near them.

Can you commit 3-5 days (to include Saturday) to service ProVest files? Process of service can require multiple trips to a residential location to meet due diligence. ProVest pays once cases are completed, so can you commit multiple attempts to resolve a file? Can you (at minimum) attempt all your cases 72 hours?
