Civil 3D certification preferred; equivalent work experience may beaccepted in lieu of a certification.
Experience:
Proficiency in using Civil 3D software.
Current or previous experienceworking in civil engineering or related fields is highly beneficial. This could include work as a civil engineer, CAD designer, CADtechnician, or similar roles.
Experience in teaching, training, or mentoring others is advantageous.
Skills:
In-depthknowledge of Civil 3D software functionalities, including design, drafting, and analysis capabilities.
Strong understanding of civilengineering principles, including surveying, site design, grading, and drainage.
Excellent communication skills, to effectively conveycomplex concepts to students.
Patience and the ability to work with students of varying skill levels.
Problem-solving skills to assiststudents in troubleshooting issues they encounter while using the software.
Familiarity with other related software programs used incivil engineering, such as AutoCAD, Revit, and GIS software, can be beneficial.
Building relationships with professionals in the civilengineering industry can provide valuable insights and networking opportunities for both you and yourstudents.
