Responsibilities
• Understand job requirements and estimate labor hours, tools, and resources needed for work orders• Create and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance work orders using CMMS• Prepare preventative maintenance plans and schedules• Act as the primary liaison between maintenance and operations• Prioritize and assign work orders• Coordinate planned downtimes to minimize interference with production schedules• Establish job goals for the maintenance workforce• Manage backlog of work orders• Provide insights into potential labor shortages• Help maintain optimal stock of spare parts and materials• Perform equipment walk-downs• Track and report maintenance activities using key performance indicators (KPIs)
Requirements
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other systems• Proficient in using CMMS software and Microsoft Office• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills• Good communication and teamwork skills• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks• Associate degree in technical discipline• BS in Engineering preferred• Minimum 8 years of experience in maintenance roles• Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional certificate or equivalent preferred• Highly organized with attention to detail• Strong leadership and influencing skills• Must be comfortable working independently
