Are you a licensed mental health therapist based in Connecticut? Are you passionate about assisting children and adolescents? The Center for NeuroPotential is looking for a proficient Associate Therapist to join our team. We provide accommodating working hours, referral options, and the chance to use evidence-based, neuroscience-backed treatments. We are predominantly in search of a veteran clinician, such as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT, ideally bilingual in English and Spanish. We are desirous of somebody with the training, or even the potential to acquire training, in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Ego States Work/IFS, Expressive Arts Therapies, soma-based therapy, and Attachment-focused treatments. Having experience in EMDR is a plus! At The Center for NeuroPotential, we strive to delve deeper than surface-level healing and delve into the basis of trauma in order to provide enduring aid. We provide administrative and billing support to our clinicians, allowing them to focus on providing first-rate care. Patients are ready and we are more than happy to welcome you!Responsibilities:Provide therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults residing in the Branford area.Ensure the delivery of high-quality evidence-based treatmentEngage in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance therapeutic skillsAssess and monitor the client's progress throughout neurofeedback sessionsAttend and participate in weekly Neurofeedback Clinical RoundsCollaborate with an EMDRIA Certified Consultant for professional consultationsReceive EMDR to pursue certification in EMDR to broaden treatment optionsDemonstrate exceptional organizational and time management skillsBe attentive and responsive to both patient and team needsComplete assigned tasks and paperwork accurately and in a timely mannerMaintain compliance with licensure requirements, including obtaining CEUsParticipate in essential training courses such as HIPAA complianceConduct psychotherapy sessions for motivated children and adolescentsContribute to providing top-tier mental health care to young clientsDisplay eagerness for professional growth and expanding knowledgeMaintain autonomy within the clinical setting with support from the practiceFoster open communication and collaboration within the teamAdaptability to meet the evolving needs of patients and the teamQualifications:Expertise in brain-based therapies across the lifespan is desiredWillingness to pursue EMDR training is desirableKnowledge of attachment, ego states, and early trauma is preferableBeing bilingual is preferredPossessing openness to new techniques is essentialFlexibility to respond to changing clinical needs is necessaryPossessing a passion and experience in treating traumaOutstanding communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to enter patient data into an EHR in a timely mannerDemonstrating enthusiasm for professional growthSeeking a challenging environment to optimize developmentDesired qualifications include expertise in brain-based therapies across the lifespanHaving the willingness to obtain training in EMDR is an advantagePreference is given to those with knowledge of attachment, ego states, and early traumaFluency in multiple languages is beneficialHaving an open attitude towards new techniques and knowledge is criticalNecessary qualifications include the ability to adjust to shifting clinical needsA passion and background in treating trauma is essentialProficiency in providing online therapy is a mustAdhering to ethical standards is paramountExceptional communication and interpersonalAbout Company:The Center for NeuroPotential empowers motivated people to heal, grow, and reach their potential using assessments and treatments that are evidence-based, brain-based, and holistic.
