About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Quality Officer to lead the development, implementation, and management of quality, performance improvement, and safety processes. This role involves coordinating programs to assess and evaluate the quality and safety of patient care, overseeing regulatory compliance initiatives, and ensuring continual survey readiness. The Chief Quality Officer will also be responsible for medical staff quality processes, credentialing, and the implementation of high reliability and safety within the system. Facilitating consistency in facility policies and practices is a key aspect of the position, as is the ability to maintain strong working relationships with various stakeholders throughout the health system.Candidates for the Chief Quality Officer position at the company must have an associate's degree in nursing with a bachelor's degree in a related field, a bachelor's degree in nursing, or a pertinent healthcare-related field. A minimum of five years in an acute care facility and five years in quality management is required. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of quality improvement principles, statistical methodologies, and experience in regulatory compliance, including Joint Commission, CMS, and State regulations. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work with computer systems, including Microsoft Office applications, are essential. Current RN licensure by the Mississippi State Board of Nursing or certification/registration in a pertinent health-related field is strongly preferred.
