We are seeking a dynamic Vice President of Channel Strategy and Account Management to spearhead our centralized channel function. This pivotal role focuses on the full spectrum of commercialization, from developing intricate pricing and contracting strategies to enhancing channel approaches, ensuring optimal access for patients and stellar product performance.
As the strategic leader, you will be at the helm of partnerships with Wholesalers, Specialty Distributors, Specialty Pharmacies, and Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), crucial to our innovative medicines business in the U.S., impacting around $30 billion in value. Your expertise will forge deeper, more insightful engagements with major accounts, gathering competitive intelligence and customer insights to elevate our brand's market stance.
Your leadership will not only involve steering account development strategies but also managing negotiations and executing channel strategies, ensuring smooth and efficient access to our products. Leading by example, you'll create business solutions that cater to both our external customers' needs and our strategic goals, collaborating across various internal teams to enhance customer satisfaction and our overall business impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of approximately 30 dedicated professionals in channel strategy, pricing, contracting, site activation, and account management to achieve our access and sales objectives.
Own the integrated Channel Strategy for our current and upcoming products, ensuring alignment with our business goals.
Cultivate high-level relationships with key stakeholders across the Trade, GPO, Specialty Pharmacy, and Hospital sectors, leveraging these partnerships to gain valuable insights and competitive intelligence.
Design and implement effective distribution and negotiation strategies across all channels.
Drive the maximization of Channel Design within our portfolio, supporting critical decision-making and communication on market opportunities and challenges.
Evaluate macro trends in healthcare that could influence product pricing, contracting, and strategies, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
What We Value:
A Bachelor's degree is required, with an MBA or equivalent being highly preferred.
A minimum of 15 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with substantial expertise in Channel Strategy, Finance, Pharmacy, Pricing, Trade, or Market Access.
Proven ability in scaling an organization, developing visionary leadership and operational excellence.
Comprehensive knowledge of the U.S. healthcare system, including pricing, reimbursement, and pharmaceutical demand drivers.
Exceptional leadership qualities, high emotional intelligence, and a knack for innovative problem-solving.
