Responsibilities
• Supervise and develop maintenance operation for 2 hotel properties• Ensure completion of projects according to specifications and schedule• Coordinate activities with other supervisors and departments• Maintain accurate records of maintenance programs and inspections• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests• Supervise inventory control and ordering• Collaborate on long-term strategic plans and forecasting• Initiate insurance claims on HVAC equipment• Evaluate and recommend mechanical contractors• Monitor building energy use and maintain energy management programs• Oversee construction and maintain building integrity• Maintain OSHA logs and Worker's Compensation reports• Perform personnel actions, training, and disciplinary action• Ensure brand compliance by preparing for audits and making improvements• Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
• Vocational Institution Certificate or Apprenticeship preferred• 5+ years of experience as a Building Engineer or in facilities technical trade• 2+ years of supervisory maintenance field experience• Technical certifications preferred• Expert knowledge of hand tools, power tools, plumbing, electrical, AC, HVAC systems• Ability to obtain required licenses and permits within six months
