Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage the Advancement team• Develop and implement a comprehensive advancement strategy• Foster a culture of philanthropy• Strategically lead the East House Foundation Board• Drive the development and execution of marketing and communication plans• Collaborate with the Foundation Board to execute fundraising goals• Facilitate and oversee funding requests• Establish effective fundraising practices with major gifts and planned giving programs• Manage all facets of fundraising efforts, campaigns, events, and communications• Cultivate relationships with donors and expand the supporter base• Lead stakeholder communications and manage the brand platform• Develop a community-focused strategy to bolster the East House mission
Requirements
• BA or BS degree in business, communications, public relations, journalism, or related fields• CFRE certification strongly desired• Minimum of 7 years fundraising and mission advancement leadership responsibility• Supervisory experience in a senior leadership role with a nonprofit behavioral health organization• Proven success in securing major gifts and strategic leadership• Exceptional written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills• Deep understanding of advancement best practices and laws, as well as trends in development, marketing, and communications
