Position SummaryMultiple temporary hourly-intermittent Bridge Student Assistant position available in the Chemistry Department.Start DatePosition available on or after May 31, 2024 and ending on or before August 30, 2024. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.Job Description/DutiesDuties include but are not limited to:Assist in performing whole-cell protein expression and enzyme assays.Assist in performing high-performance chromatography, mass spectrometry, and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. Other duties as assigned.QualificationsPreferred Qualifications:Demonstrates proof of completion of 30 or more units.Demonstrates proof of completion of Biochemistry I with a grade of B- or higher.Demonstrates prior experience in research assistance.Required Qualifications:Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.Salary Range$16.00 per hour How to ApplyTo be considered, qualified candidates must submit a completed Stanislaus State online employment application, cover letter, and resumé.
