Responsibilities
• Operate assigned processes to meet quality, production, and productivity goals• Prioritize daily tasks with Production Leads and Supervisors• Participate in monthly safety meetings• Review and update Standard Operating Procedures and Learning Resources• Complete annual personal goals for plant and personal development• Assemble and disassemble production equipment• Perform basic equipment maintenance• Promote a safe work environment• Issue safe work permits• Complete assigned training• Cross-train peers on approved functions
Requirements
• Must be clean shaven for safety purposes• Ability to wear a full face respirator and other safety equipment• Pass respiratory and physical tests• Ability to lift 50 pounds and climb ladders• Ability to roll cylinders up to 200 pounds• Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays• Positive and safety-first attitude• Ability to learn technical chemical processes quickly• Effective communication and problem-solving skills• Self-starter and ability to perform under pressure• Ability to participate on emergency response team• High school diploma or GED required• Associates Degree in Applied Science preferred• 2+ years experience in process operations environment preferred• 2+ years experience in chemical or hazardous material handling desirable• 2+ years experience working on mechanical / electrical systems preferred• Experience with Nuclear, Electronics, or Mechanical training preferred• Understanding of analytical processes and root cause investigation preferred• Knowledge of 5S and Lean manufacturing preferred• Computer literacy preferred
