Chat Support Specialist

Job Description:

AK Steel Holding is seeking a Chat Support Specialist to join our team in Austin, Texas. In this part-time role at the Associate Level, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service through chat support to our clients. The ideal candidate will be resilient and confident, with excellent analysis and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities:1. Respond to customer inquiries and issues through chat support in a timely and professional manner.2. Provide technical support for customers experiencing difficulties with our products or services.3. Troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns effectively and efficiently.4. Document all interactions with customers in our CRM system.5. Collaborate with other departments to escalate and resolve complex customer issues.6. Provide feedback to management on common customer issues and trends.

Requirements:1. Bachelor's degree in a related field.2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or technical support role.3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.4. Strong analysis and negotiation skills.5. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.7. Experience with CRM tools is a plus.8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
