Charge Registered Nurse

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- Charge Registered Nurse - Operating Room CHARGE RN - OR Full-Time All Charge RN candidates for the Surgical Services Department will have the following job responsibilities: The purpose of the Charge Nurse position is to assist the Nurse Manager/Director in providing 24/7 nursing leadership to the nursing unit. The Charge nurse is responsible for supervising and assigning RN's and Patient Care Technicians. The OR suite is made up of thirteen surgical rooms including a dedicated pediatric room and orthopedic suites. The recovery area has twelve bays and a specialized peri-operative nursing team to provide close monitoring of patients during the recovery process. JOB QUALIFICATIONS- Charge Registered Nurse - Operating Room CHARGE RN - OR Full-Time All Charge RN candidates for the Surgical Services Department must meet the following minimum job qualifications:
Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state which you practice and/or hold an active Compact/Multi-State RN license A current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider is required At least one year of RN experience required Previous charge nursing experience in the operating room required Salary Compensation : $31.00 - $46.00
Shift Differential: Nights $3.50, On-Call $3.50, Weekends $3.50
Sign-On Bonus: Case By Case Basis
