Responsibilities: Assist patients to exam room Obtain vital signs (temperature, heart rate, pulse ox, blood pressure, and weight) Document inpatient computer record histories and chief complaint. Prepare patients for exams and procedures including positioning, draping, shaving, and disinfecting treatment sites. Assist with exams, perform visual acuities, and invasive procedures Place leads and perform EKGs Perform ear lavages, removing sutures or staples from superficial wounds Apply basic dressings Collect and label urine and stool specimens Draw blood and obtain any other specimens ordered by provider Run all lab work (CBC, CMP, BMP, Lipids, SOB, Urinalysis, Influenza, Strep Screen, HcG, RSV, and Mono) Splint Application Remain flexible for cross training Occasionally take on tasks outside the normal scope of practice Observe, identify, and do what is needed to move us forward in a way that best represents who we are as an organization Other duties as needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and abide by our Organization's Values Pay: $14/hr & up (Depending on Experience)
