If so please read the job description and apply!* We cover the cost of the following: In person CPR/First Aid, Fingerprint Clearance Card, TB test!!Job Description for Certified Caregivers/MedtechsApplicants must be certified in all three levels of care: directed, supervisory, and personal, as mandated by the state of Arizona.Summary of Duties:The primary responsibility of the Certified Caregiver is to provide physical and psychosocial care to all residents in a manner that promotes dignity, choice, and individuality.Essential Functions:Provides all necessary care and services to assigned residents and assists other wellness department associates as needed.Works collaboratively with peers and other team members.Provides assistance with activities of daily living such as with bathing, dressing, personal hygiene (includes: shaving, oral care, nail care, hair care, foot care), toileting, eating, and ambulation/mobility.Maintains professional demeanor at all times when interacting with residents and families.Reports any suspected or witnessed instances of verbal, mental, or physical abuse to licensed staff immediately.Utilizes safe transfer techniques when assisting residents with mobility.Washes residents' laundry as needed.Understands and uses Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Standard Precautions, OSHA's Occupational Exposure to Bloodborne Pathogens standard, and follows established infection control procedures, hazardous communication, and other safety rules.Documents provision of services on company forms.Escorts residents and coordinates internal transportation needs.Assists residents with personal correspondence/telephone use when requested.Observes and reports changes in residents' physical condition and cognitive/emotional status to Wellness Director or supervisor, as needed.Conducts room checks and resident rounds.Monitors for environmental safety hazards.Respond to emergencies in a prompt and calm manner; Immediately reports such emergencies to the supervisor.Uses tactful, diplomatic communication techniques in potentially sensitive or emotionally charged situations.Follows-up with appropriate staff, residents, or other individuals regarding reported complaints, problems, and concerns.Medication Technician-Summary of Duties (In addition to certified caregiving duties):· The primary responsibilities of the Medication Technician are to administer or assist with the administration and/or supervision of medications to the residents in a safe, accurate, and timely manner.Essential Functions:Administers or assists with or supervises the administration of medications according to the physician order on the medication administration record (MAR)Documents medications administered on the MAR in accordance with company policyChecks MARs immediately after administration and prior to end of shift to ensure documentation is complete and accurateConducts change of shift report with oncoming/outgoing shift personnelMaintains security of medication cart and narcotic keys during entire shiftConducts narcotic count at the beginning and end of every shift in accordance with company policies and procedures.License/Certification:First Aid Certification (Required)Certified Caregiver Certification (3 Levels- Personal, Supervisory, Directed) (Required)CPR Certification (Required)TB Test (Required)Food Handlers Certification (Required)Fingerprint Clearance Card (Required)Must be 21 years of age or olderA background check is required for this position upon hire.Job Types: Variety of hours* Schedule:4 to 24 hour shifts*$500 bonus in 5 months**Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem, PRNPay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hourBenefits:Flexible schedulePaid trainingReferral programSchedule:12 hour shift8 hour shiftDay shiftEvening shiftHolidaysMonday to FridayNight shiftOvernight shiftWeekends as neededApplication Question(s):* Are you 21 years of age or older?Experience:* Caregiving for the Elderly: 3 years (Required)License/Certification:CPR Certification (Required)First Aid Certification (Required)Fingerprint Clearance Card (Required)TB Test (Required)Certified Caregiver 3 Levels Personal, Supervisory, Directed (Required)Shift availability:Day Shift (Preferred)Night Shift (Preferred)Overnight Shift (Preferred)Work Location: In person
