Job Highlights Adherence to and support of LANXESS Environmental, Health, and Safety policiesSupport of the Maintenance Work Process.Cutting, welding, steel fabrication, and pipe fitting.Maintenance of centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, gearboxes, air / gas compressors, blowers, glass, and glass lined steel equipment and hydraulic systems, tanks and pressure vessel, mechanical seals and all other process equipmentAlignment of rotating equipmentTroubleshooting equipment failuresRecord keeping Requirements High School DiplomaTechnical degree preferredTwo (2) years or more mechanical experience in a chemical petrochemical industry a plus, ability to demonstrate precision repair and rebuild of rotating equipment, laser alignment, pipe fitting and valve repairMust have excellent communication skills (written, oral and comprehension)Computer skills a plusMust be willing to work scheduled / unscheduled overtime, call-outs, and week-end / holiday coverage as requiredSuccessful candidate must complete Maintenance Training Course, (10 volumes, TPC training material) per established scheduleMust have a willingness to learn and work in an ever changing environmentAbility to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe mannerMust have a valid driver's license What we offer you: Compensation: We offer competitive compensation packages, inclusive of a global bonus program and an individual performance bonus program.
