Lescombes Family Vineyards is looking to hire a Cellar Associate to work in our production facility.
The main duties are the operation and sanitation of all winemaking equipment including but not limited to pumps, tanks, filters, barrels, hoses, clamps, and fittings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The operation and sanitation of all winemaking equipment including but not limited to pumps, tanks, filters, barrels, hoses, clamps, and fittings. Works closely with supervisors and winemakers to complete tasks. Prepare yeast inoculates. Read and follow work orders, complete wine additions, blends, transfers, and any other duties in the production of wine. Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor. Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures . Comply with all ASI and OSHA guidelines. Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: Ability to work with others Ability to read and take instructions Work at a fast pace and keep up with the bottling line Be on time show up ready to work Physical Requirements: Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds or more on a repetitive basis. Work standing up and walk on concrete surfaces for extended periods. Ability to work in a cold and wet environment (consistently 60-65 degrees), during 3-4 months per year 30-40 degrees. Ability to climb ladders and be comfortable with heights.
