Responsibilities What you'll be challenged to do: The Raleigh office is looking for a part time/full time Summer or fall intern to help with a variety of projects encompassing several different aspects of CEI. This intern will be responsible for assisting project engineers and project managers with design and administrative tasks.
Assist staff with routine engineering tasks as assignedProvide weekly status updatesConduct field investigations and data collectionAssist with plan productionAssists in the preparation of various transportation engineering projects, including design and analysis.Gathers engineering data from a variety of sources.Identifies design criteriaEvaluates existing and proposed geometric conditions.Participates in site visits, project investigations and project meetings.Provides design efforts that adhere to quality and schedule requirementsAssists in preparing and reviewing engineering reports and exhibitsAssists in developing preliminary quantities and cost estimates Qualifications What you bring to our firm: Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Civil EngineeringActively engages multiple perspectives when solving problems, seeks to learn from peers, and encourages reciprocal learning among team members.
