We are currently seeking Construction Management CEI Inspector Trainee for our Transportation-Construction Management practice in the Charleston, SC area. As a CEI Inspector Trainee , you will collaborate with and be mentored by top engineering associates on our team while gaining hands-on experience and a better understanding of Transportation Construction Management engineering. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be a team player, and is enthusiastic, motivated, honest, and dependable.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Support inspection teams with field inspections Verify the dimensions of prepared and completed work Collect and prepare data for evaluation Perform engineering with the use of computer-assisted engineering software and equipment Prepare reports for site operations activities including materials used and completed work Provide support to engineering and project management associates Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to work independently with general supervision as well as within a collaborative team environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Good driving record with valid driver's license Ability to sit, stand, climb, bend, twist or stoop frequently and for prolonged periods of time Ability to reach horizontally as well as vertically for required tasks Ability to use construction or inspection safety equipment including fall protection Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds Perfered Qualifications: EIT Certification is preferred Must obtain any required certifications and pass appropriate qualifications tests for the position in specified time frames Good driving record with valid Driver's License Ability to use construction or inspection safety equipment including fall protection #LI-SP1
