Job Title:CDL Truck Driver - Must have CDL
Location:Conover, NC
Description:Position Summary: Transport and transport coordination between plants and outside finish sources.
Position Responsibilities:
•Must understand operation of truck; perform daily inspection and report safety / maintenance issues.
•Supply frames to Webbers and Springers based on production schedule.
•Organize, sequence, and tier frames for delivery to outside finish sources.
•Pro-actively assist in quick response delivery time for frames behind production schedule.
•Coordinate with upholstery teams to meet shipping requirements.
•Properly store tools and supplies at the end of each shift.
•Maintains neat and orderly truck cab and trailer.
•Wears required safety glasses and foot wear; works safely and reports unsafe conditions to Dept. Supervisor.
•Performs other duties as required by supervisor.
An ideal candidate:
•Must have current driver's license, correct Class A for CDL.
•Must have safe driving record.
•Must have ability to learn quickly and recognize parts.
•Previous knowledge of furniture.
•Previous knowledge of maintenance.
