Job summary
HWY Express is looking for an experienced, motivated Class A CDL Flatbed driver with experience in strapping, tarping, chaining and binders.Drivers average $1,400 weekly and will receive $1,500 orientation pay.CDL A Flatbed truck drivers will be home every weekend for weekly reset.

Responsibilities
• Transporting flatbed freight including rebar, pipe, machinery, coils, lumber and oversize loads.• Completing strapping, tarping, chaining, and binder tasks on the load.• Adhering to log book regulations and driving in at least 3 states or more with a tractor-trailer and 48-foot or longer trailer.• Choosing between CMP or % of load option for payment.• Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the truck and equipment.• Participating in the Rider Program.• Following all company policies and procedures.• Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods.• Communicating with dispatch and customers as needed.• Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Requirements
• At least 1 year of flatbed experience in the last 3 years.• Experience in strapping, tarping, chaining, and binders.• Ability to drive in at least 3 states or more with a tractor-trailer and 48-foot or longer trailer.• Experience with log books.• Valid Class A CDL license.• Clean driving record.• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.• Strong communication and organizational skills.• Ability to work independently and make decisions.• Attention to detail and safety-conscious.
