JOB DESCRIPTION
In this role, you will be responsible for handling third party bodily injury, personal liability, and general liability claims. General liability claims include premises liability and product liability claims.
MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES OF JOB:
Analyze first report to determine the nature of loss, coverage provided, and scope of injury/damage in auto and liability cases. Conduct investigations of all aspects of reported claims, including potential fraud. Secure all appropriate supporting documentation and verify it for accuracy, relationship, and completeness. Handle third party property damage or bodily injury claims for liability exposures. Apply knowledge of jurisdictional regulations and case law in all territories handled. Effectively negotiate liability and damages where appropriate. Ability to negotiate settlement of third party property damage or bodily injury claims. Demonstrate the ability to effectively manage and monitor cases to achieve timely development and disposition of inventory. Collaborate with department leadership to deliver presentations and/or serve as a technical resource to others. QUALIFICATIONS ABOUT US
