TIME FRAME: This is a short term, seasonal position. ALL JAZZ FEST EVENT DAYS: April 25-28 & May 2-5, 2024 POSITION SUMMARY: The Cashless Zone Monitor plays a crucial role in overseeing the Cashless operations of Vendor & Concessions booths within the Cultural Exchange Pavilion (CEP). Must be fluent in Spanish. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Maintain regular communication with each vendor in the assigned zone. Ensure the smooth daily opening of Food, Craft, Concessions, and Beverage Booths within the designated zone. Verify and ensure the proper functioning of all POS system hardware and internet connections throughout Festival days. Communicate any cashless troubleshooting events promptly to the Cashless Coordinator for prioritization in the queue. Log all troubleshooting events in the Error/Incident Form. Report any cash transactions or unauthorized POS systems to the Cashless Coordinator. Perform any other work-related duties assigned by the Concessions Director. Complete any evaluation or feedback forms as requested. On the last day of the Festival, check in POS units not needed by vendors. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED: Must be fluent in Spanish. Production experience is preferred. Comfortable working in a fast-paced and high-stress workplace. Proficient in computer applications including Excel, Access, and Word. Basic understanding of accounting procedures. Ability to handle some heavy lifting. This role demands effective communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage cashless operations under pressure. REQUIREMENTS: It is the responsibility of each employee and their supervisor to accurately report their absenteeism to the Festival Concession Office. Must maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive issues. Any document, computer program, design, or other intellectual property created for the Jazz Festival belongs to the Jazz Festival and must be given to the Festival through your supervisor or departmental head at the end of each production year, or upon request. Must complete all required Feedback Forms and Final Reports. Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
