Position Description:Nevada Gold Mines is looking for a Resource Modeler I or II to join our Resource Modeling Team.Responsibilities:Deliver estimation of Resources and Reserves, responsible for the timely delivery of block models for mine planning, and other project purposes as required. An emphasis will be placed on development and improvement of block models and estimations supporting mine and business planning. Work closely with site geologists to improve the block model representation of geologic controls on mineralization relevant to material routing (ore/waste and processing considerations). Support model-mine-mill reconciliation and use results to drive improvements in Resource Models. Participate in peer review and provide technical support within the broader NGM Resource Modeling function. Training and mentoring within the Resource Modeling team. Generate technical reports supporting resource models and contribute to external reporting (eg- NI 43-101 technical reports) as required.
