Prairie Ridge Assisted Living in Waupun, WI is looking to hire caregivers for both PM and NOC shifts! We are a small privately owned assisted living located on 819 Wilcox Street. We pride ourselves on treating each person that works through our doors like family whether they be staff, residents or family members! Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and engaged. They have strong interpersonal as well as verbal and written communication skills! A team player with a positive, can-do attitude and the ability to problem solve is a must! Caregiving experience is preferred but not required. Willing to train the right individual!

Provides individualized care to each resident that supports the ability to maintain or attain the highest practical physical, mental and social well-being. Maintains the comfort, privacy, and dignity of residents in the delivery of care to them. Interacts with residents in a manner that displays warmth and promotes a caring environment. Fully understands all aspects of residents' rights, including the right to be free of restraints and free of abuse and is responsible for promptly reporting evidence of resident abuse or violation of residents' rights to the Administrator/Care Coordinator or administrative staff. Assists in maintaining a safe, organized, and clean environment. Reports environmental deficiencies to the Administrator/Care Coordinator such as lighting or equipment problems. Protects the personal belongings of each resident, and promptly reports missing items according to established policy and participates in efforts to locate missing items.
