Work Scheduled: Monday - Thursday 9 am-6pm EST and Friday 9 am - 3pm with two late night coverage, on occasion Saturdays
Salary Range (non Exempt): 45-50K with up to 16K Bonus potential based on department goals.
Candidates can reside in one of the following states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, ID, IN, KY, LA, MI, MO, MS, NC, NV, OH, OK, SC, PA, TN, TX, UT, VA, and WI
What you will be doing:
* Provide information and assistance about career development, career search and careers
* Interview new students to obtain employment history, education, and assist with career goals
* Identify barriers to employment
* Maintain ongoing communications with students and graduates
* Assist students with job readiness skills and with job search strategies
* Maintain student records through the campus database (Salesforce)
* Develop and maintain relationships with employers through frequent communication and networking
* Solicit and follow up on job orders from employers
* Counsel and advise students and graduates regarding professional development and career success strategies
* Provide graduates with job leads and track information in the campus database
* Oversee job postings, registrations, and applications on job placement website
* Follow up bi-weekly with non-placed graduates and assist where needed
* Maintain database of employer contacts and placement status of students
* Keep student portal/share point sites updated with announcements, links, and other employment-related documents
* Comply and report placement statistics as required by state, accrediting, and federal agencies
* Other duties as assigned
Qualifications needed:
* Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and experience.
* Salesforce experience is a plus
* Knowledge of IT certifications a plus
* Experience in recruiting, career services and/or sales environment
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
