Job Summary The Career Navigator is the key point of contact for both prospective and current students in the Beauty and Wellness Program (BAW). This position is critical to the success of our students and program as they help connect students to resources on and off campus. The navigator assists with onboarding from inquiry to admissions, enrollment to completion, and provides the necessary support and resources required through out the journey. The navigator will work closely with our program director, department head, and industry partner to continue to grow the program and continue program success.
Essential Functions Onboarding students through admissions, financial aid, transcripts, and enrollment Supporting students through advisement, drop out detective and with resources and opportunities Regular communication through weekly meetings with key stakeholders Special events, recruitment and marketing activities with educational and community partners Minimum Qualifications Associates Degree or higher in any related field Two years of experience working in education in a student services capacity Desired Qualifications Multilingual Knowledge of MCC Student Information System Ability to communicate well with key stakeholders Special Working Conditions Students in the Beauty and Wellness Program (BAW) are both online and on campus. Communication will need to be both virtual and in person as needed.
