Here, you'll be supported in progressing – whatever your ambitions.About this role:The Cardiac Monitoring Technician II is responsible for the interpretation and reporting of EKG data received for patients wearing Company monitoring devices to assist physicians in diagnosing the patient. Up to $5,000 in Bonuses$3,000 Sign on Bonus$2,000 Bonus for CRAT and/or CCT certificationsIf you don't have your CCT certification, you will get an opportunity to once hired to receive it as well as a bonus up to $2,000.  Event Hours:Day shift: 6:00am-4:30pmMid shift: 1:00pm-11:30pm (+5% shift differential)Night shift: 10:00pm - 6:30am (+10% shift differential)Holter Hours:Day shift: 6:00am-4:30pmFlex option: 8:00am-6:30pmFlex option: 10:00am-8:30pmYour responsibilities will include:Process, analyze, interpret and edit EKG dataCollect recordings and patient symptoms as neededFacilitate activation of EMS, if indicatedAccurately document actions taken within patient recordsFacilitate orders for monitors and suppliesObtain patient transmissions and related symptomsRecognize abnormal cardiac rhythms/symptoms, and clearly communicate information to appropriate team memberEnsure customer enrollment is entered correctlyAddress questions and educate patients, practices, and sales staffFax serious and critical reports to practices and hospitals as requestedRetain information that is job specific such as safety regulations and current policies and proceduresOther duties as assigned. Required Qualifications:2 years of experience with a high school diplomaCCT or CRAT certified Preferred qualifications:High School DiplomaFormal EKG education, whether a certificate from a school or third party certificationCET (Certified EKG Technician) – offered at some colleges and community collegesCCT (Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician)CRAT (Certified Rhythm Analysis Technician)Working Experience in the Hospital or IDTF after receiving their CET or other certificationsHospital experience could be working in telemetry where they are interpreting what they see on the monitors and strips, then sharing that information with the doctorsAdditional Details:The Cardiac Monitoring Technician position is an in-office role.
