In the role of Cardiac ICU Nurse Manager, this nursing leader will manage a 24 bed Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit including cardiac and thoracic surgery patients, vascular, heart and lung transplants, MCS, VV, ECLS, and TAVR. This Cardiac ICU Nurse Manager will be directing daily operations, staffing, developing performance improvement standards, and personnel management over Registered Nurses, many of which have their CCRN Certification, Techs, anesthesiologists, and other well-tenured healthcare professionals. The Cardiovascular ICU Nurse Manager will uphold the overall goal of moving the needle forward for clinical outcomes and the patient experience. The Cardiac Intensive Care Unit Manager will report directly to the Director of Critical Care Services.
An ICU Nurse Leader with their Masters degree (or currently enrolled in a Masters program) in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field along with their Bachelors, Registered Nursing License in good standing, and supervisory experience in ICU services, preferably cardiothoracic and / or cardiac ICU will make for quick interviews!
