Call For Entries: 'Amusement' Juried Student Photo Show

All students are invited to submit entries is for the 5th Juried Student Photography Show: "AMUSEMENT."
The exhibition will run from Wednesday, May 1 though Sunday, Nov. 3.
How to submitStudents can enter up to three photographs. For each submitted photography, you will need: title, medium (digital, gelatin silver, cyanotype, mixed media, etc.), year completed, value/price, and if it is for sale.
Entries are due by 11:59 p.m. Tuesday, April 16. Photo prompt:Amusement by definition is the state or experience of finding something funny — something that causes laughter or provides entertainment. Spring already brings wonder and joy; now, consider how you can capture that feeling in a photograph. What inspires you to pick up the camera? What are simple things that make you happy? What guides you in your creation? 
Whatever that may be for you, capture it — and share it with us for consideration in this show — as joy and inspiration are meant to be shared.
Competition timeline details:Entries Due By: 11:59 p.m. Tuesday, April 16
Jurying: Thursday, April 18 and Friday, April 19
Notification of Acceptance By: Monday, April 22
Photo Printing and Framing Workshop: Required for selected photos. Workshops will be held between 1 and 5 p.m. Sunday, April 28, in the H. F. Johnson Center for Fine Arts
Exhibition Dates: Wednesday, May 1-Sunday, Nov. 3
Opening Reception: 7 p.m. Thursday, May 2, in the Erhler Hospitality Center
Note: Accepted digital photos must be printed at 12x18 inches — either vertically or horizontally. By attending the workshops, you'll print your digital photo and frame your work. Details will be provided when artwork is selected for the exhibition.
