Job Description:

Markel is seeking a motivated Call Center Assistant to join our dynamic team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a part-time, entry-level position that allows for remote work. As a Call Center Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to clients over the phone, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and assisting with general administrative tasks.

Responsibilities:1. Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.2. Assist customers with product information, pricing, and order processing.3. Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and effective manner.4. Document all customer interactions and maintain accurate records.5. Provide administrative support such as data entry, filing, and scheduling appointments.6. Collaborate with team members to improve customer service processes and procedures.7. Meet and exceed performance goals and targets set by management.

Requirements:1. Resilient and independent personality traits to handle high-pressure situations.2. Strong leadership and creativity skills to find innovative solutions to customer problems.3. Excellent communication skills and the ability to empathize with customers.4. Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.5. Previous experience in customer service or call center roles is a plus, but not required.6. Must be able to work part-time hours and have a flexible schedule.
