Volt is immediately hiring a CAD drafter/ CAM programmer in Portland OR.
As a CAD drafter/ CAM programmer you will: Produce shop fabrication drawings for custom fixtures/cabinets, millwork, retail architectural casework products
This is a full-time, opportunity. Ideal candidate will have: Must have experience with AutoCAD software. Experience with MasterCam software writing code for CNC machinery. Ability to work from Architectural and ID blueprints or renderings to envision and generate accurate buildable shop fabrication drawings. Able to utilize software shortcut features and efficiencies. Knowledge of architectural woodworking/architectural detailing. Work effectively in a fast-paced high production environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as communicate with team effectively. Proficient with Microsoft office. Other skills/experience desired but not essential: Pay rate: $25-$30 per hour
