What You'll Do:
Craft Contracts: Take the lead in drafting and issuing project-specific purchase orders and subcontracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established policies.
Review and Refine: Scrutinize requisition information and contract details, making sure everything aligns perfectly before processing.
Communication is Key: Collaborate closely with vendors and internal stakeholders, addressing any discrepancies and ensuring clear communication throughout the procurement process.
Utilize Resources: Make use of company master agreements and seek guidance from Procurement leadership when needed.
Stay Organized: Keep track of purchase order and change order progress, ensuring smooth approval and execution stages.
Data Driven: Assist in gathering data related to procurement key performance indicators, contributing to our continuous improvement efforts.
Tech Savvy: Enter and maintain pertinent data in our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and project management platforms, leveraging technology to streamline processes.
Support Team Efforts: Work closely with procurement coordinators, offering assistance and information as needed to support project-specific contracts.
What You'll Bring:
Educational Background: Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in supply chain, business, or a related field.
Experience: Previous experience in procurement or a business-related field is advantageous, but we're also open to enthusiastic newcomers eager to learn.
Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis and problem-solving abilities are essential.
Tech Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, is a must. Experience with industry-specific software and ERP systems is a plus.
Industry Understanding: Familiarity with terms and nomenclature used in the construction industry is beneficial.
Excellent Communication: Strong written, verbal, and electronic communication skills are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
