Volt is immediately hiring for a Buyer/Purchasing Agent in Florham Park, NJ. This company has an excellent company culture, great incentives and a team-player attitude.
As a Buyer/Purchasing Agent you will: Manage budget guidelines with a strong ability to handle contract negotiations. Develop and optimize vendor relationships. Prospect and acquire new vendor accounts. Ensure requisitions have appropriate approvals and account numbers. Collaborate procurement strategies with purchasing team. Develop and implement cost saving measures that contribute to profits and revenue. Handle purchase requests for manufacturing raw materials, OEM, and MRO products and outside services.
This is a full-time opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have: Bachelor's degree with 2 - 4 years related buyer/procurement/supply chain experience; medical or medical device industry highly preferred. Kaizen and/or lean manufacturing a plus. Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written necessary. pleasant & professional demeanor required. MS D365 experience is a plus. Pay Rate: $32.00 - $36.00 per hour
