Responsibilities
• Reviews requisitions, Production Schedules, and MRP Reports• Interacts with suppliers to obtain product or service information• Selects products for purchase• Prepares purchase orders or bid requests• Maintains inventory levels• Builds and maintains relationships with suppliers• Reviews bid proposals and negotiates contracts• Maintains procurement records• Addresses defective or unacceptable goods or services• Approves invoices and expedites delivery
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field preferred• Five years' experience in a purchasing role, or equivalent combination of education and experience
