Performs duties relating to the cutting, preparation, display, and selling of meat products.Ensures a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and Team Members.Supports WFM core values and goals, promotes programs and initiatives, and ensures adherence to health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities
• Cuts, platters, and merchandises meat products.• Prepares specialty meat merchandise.• Checks product quality.• Maintains sampling program.• Prevents spoilage.• Mentors and supports trainees.• Provides excellent customer service.• Maximizes sales potential.• Follows established procedures and compliance.• Maintains clean and sanitary working environment.• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties.• Reports safety hazards and violations.• Performs other assigned duties.
Requirements
• Working understanding of meat team processes and procedures.• Excellent cutting skills.• Extensive knowledge of different cuts and cooking techniques.• Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness.• Capable of accessing market condition information.• Strong to excellent communication skills.• Ability to meet customer service expectations.• Ability to follow directions and procedures.• Passion for natural foods and Whole Foods Market.• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
