Primarily participate as a functional consultant (but also as Project Manager where needed) in WMS implementation projects. Provide Functional support on Warehouse Management Systems.
Participate (as a WMS project team resource) in future implementations such as the replacement of all current Snap-on and SNAE WMS systems with Infor WMS Depending on project, will work as Functional Consultant or Project Manager or both. Manages, owns and builds project plans at all levels Collect Requirements from business key users. Challenge requirements in order to use as much as possible standard functionality of WMS and avoid unnecessary developments . Filter requirements as "must have" and "nice to have" / enhancement request. Prepare Functional Designs for Developments Works closely with Developers to ensure their correct understanding and delivery of good quality deliverable the first time. Minimize iterations. Draft test scripts/scenarios and perform Unit & User Acceptance Tests Support Snap-on business units (distribution centers / warehouses) with WMS Bug identification & fix with developer. Manage enhancement requests . Use company issue management tool (currently Jira/ITCOE) to clearly update the progress of tickets, and communicate with other resources (developers etc) Frequent Travel could be required at periods, depending on nature of project Ability to document Standard Operating Procedures for business processes and tasks Given a business or technical issue, will analyze and determine root cause. Interface with clients on service level issues and process improvements Interface with internal I/T teams to achieve key objectives Any other job responsibility as required BS in Business , a related discipline Minimum 8 years of Experience in implementing and/or supporting WMS systems with focus on improvement projects, automation or optimization of operational logistic processes Minimum 4 years of experience of projects implementing the product of Infor WMS Experience in gathering Business Requirements, documenting Gaps and participating in the estimation of development effort to satisfy Gaps Experience as a project manager Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Responsibilities may require evening and weekend work in response to needs of the applications being supported.
