As a senior business systems analyst in Academic Information Systems web application development team, the position is responsible for leading complex business and systems analysis, testing, implementation, and on-going management of key IT initiatives. Initiatives include the assessment and management of web application projects for all of the School of Medicine departments and School of Nursing, this may include both vendor-supported and custom applications. The position may also work on SOM projects associated with operational and administrative functions. The position will work in collaboration with the Manager of the Educational Technology, Supervisor for Business Systems Analysts and appropriate UC Davis Health System technical resources to ensure projects are meeting appropriate milestones and deadlines. The position will also create the supporting documentation for user and administrative guides interact with the stakeholders for demonstration of the developed products and function as the liaison between the development team and the customer/stakeholders for future application needs.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Extensive experience as business or systems analyst participating in large scale IT projects.
Experience as a lead analyst/tester on large scale IT projects.
Experience with supporting/developing web based application applications.
Extensive project leadership and advanced analysis experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 5-7 years of experience or 7-10 years of relevant work experience highly preferred
Academic institution or large integrated healthcare facility experience preferred
Relevant business analysis certification preferred
