Our mission is to revolutionize commerce globally to make moving money, selling and shopping, personalized and secure.Job Description Summary:PayPal, Inc. seeks Business Systems Analyst 2 in San Jose, CAJob Duties: Conduct data analyses that contribute to the implementation of data quality controls across PayPal by rationalizing business processes or technology gaps that lead to data quality issues. Validate and test the data quality process control points for Critical Data Elements (CDE's). Develop and test new data quality rules from existing DQ issues and from profiling data. Capture, track, and present insights on the lifecycle of CDE data quality issues. Work collaboratively across various teams to conduct root cause analysis for data quality issues that arise with CDE's. Help define data quality controls in alignment with industry best practices. Work collaboratively across various teams that are executing data quality controls to ensure there is alignment to the enterprise data quality framework, procedures, and controls. Working with Enterprise Data Governance leads to ensure that data quality processes are integrated into the data governance framework. Perform statistical tests using SQL, Python and Advanced Excel on large and complex data sets with millions of rows to determine the root cause of data quality and integrity problems. Leverage Strong technical data mining and ML skills, and ability to work with large volumes of data; extract and manipulate large datasets to generate insights. Partner with Credit, Risk, Fraud and Compliance teams to analyze and design risk mitigation tactics to proactively identify fraudulent behavior from customers. Develop Tableau dashboard to track and monitor the data quality index for Payments, Finance, and Identity domains.
