This is a project manager position accountable for managing state IT projects for the Missouri Division of Youth Services.
The following tasks are the responsibility of the Business Project Manager:
Oversee IT projects within the Division of Youth Services – new case management system, time keeping system, Chromebook Project, Google Platform projects, etc. Responsible for the implementation of the new case management system that DYS is currently working on and all other IT related projects Responsible for the day to day management of the new case management system – i.e. updating forms, training regional and facility staff on data entry and usage, running reports, and all other related items Provide technical support for all system users Work with ITSD on a daily basis – communicate regularly with the project PMO's and contractors Develop policy and use cases around the new system and any other IT related systems for DYS Responsible for project planning Identifying appropriate resources as needed Developing project plans, timelines, and accountabilities Accountable for developing project deliverables and measuring project outcomes Frequent interaction with business owners, managers, and other stakeholders Performs other tasks as assigned Knowledge, skills & abilities Knowledge of project management techniques and tools. Must be familiar with project scope and objectives as well as role of each team member. Skill in critical thinking, problem solving, and organization. Ability to establish project goals and objectives. Ability to communicate with team members and external stakeholders. Experience with the development platform, ServiceNow, is preferred.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
(Earned credit hours from an accredited college or university may substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required degree.) (Additional qualifying experience may substitute for a year-for-year basis for the required deficiencies in the required education.)
