Salary Range: For the Bay Area - Minimum: $95,000 to Maximum: $143,000. Please note that the actual salary offer will be tailored based on the selected candidate's experience, skills, and geographical location, aiming to ensure equity and market competitiveness.

Our Gas T&D Construction Cross Bore Prevention team plays a crucial role in the safe installation and maintenance of underground gas, transmission, and electric construction. By leveraging technical expertise, project management skills, and a commitment to quality, we work tirelessly to prevent and mitigate cross bore incidents across our entire service area.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated Business Operations Specialist to join our Cross Bore Prevention team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in managing and scheduling hundreds of sewer camera inspections system-wide every week. Your efforts will ensure that our operations are efficient, cost-effective, and compliant with our high standards and procedures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with diverse teams, drive process improvements, and contribute to our commitment to safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Proactively manage communications across departments, ensuring smooth and effective collaboration.
Develop and refine internal work procedures, initiating process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Serve as a liaison between various departments and cross-functional teams, fostering positive relationships and synergy.
Influence decisions and provide recommendations that contribute to the success of our goals and optimize cost-effectiveness.
Conduct research and data analysis, compiling and preparing reports for senior management to inform strategic decision-making.
Utilize system and personnel resources adeptly to address inquiries and support internal business partners.
Act as a subject matter expert, offering guidance and direction to enhance organizational knowledge and skills.
Develop and manage training programs to improve team capabilities and performance.
Participate in and occasionally lead cross-functional teams, contributing to the development of new solutions and process improvements.
Qualifications:
Minimum:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least 5 years of relevant experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in business operations and strategy.
Valid California driver's license.
Desired:
Proven ability to lead and inspire teams.
Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting findings and recommendations effectively at the management level.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
A creative problem-solver with the ability to develop new approaches, processes, and tools by adapting existing solutions.
