Pinnacle Veterinary Specialists was founded by four veterinarians who wanted to change the way pets and their people experienced specialty and emergency veterinary medicine. They are a 24/7 emergency veterinary hospital located in Glen Mills PA. Pinnacle is looking for a Business Manager to join their growing team!
The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all areas of the business including payroll financial management accounts receivable and general accounting and human resource administration functions.
Primary Responsibilities Processing payroll including overtime pay holiday pay shift differential salary and hourly employees and more.
Financial reconciliations reviewing electronic medical record systems checking credit card payments etc.
Creating reports in excel utilizing pivot tables.
Managing the HR Database
Assisting with employee benefits questions FMLA ST Disability paperwork 401k questions etc. Assisting with W9s and 1099 employees unemployment claims workmans comp paperwork sending out W2s and more.
Employee onboarding and offboarding.
Coordinate orientation of new staff and ongoing training and education of our current staff Qualifications Must have previous experience processing payroll
3 years of relevant work experience
Detail oriented organized expert knowledge of Excel.
Experience with Paylocity a plus!
Requirements At least 23 years of experience with processing payroll. (including both hourly and salary employees shift differentials holiday pay and garnishments).
Attention to detail.
Expert with excel and creating pivot tables.
