BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, TRANSPORTATION EXECUTIVE (THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION)As a Business Development Executive in the transportation industry, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and maintaining relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth for the company. Your primary goal will be to promote our transportation services and secure contracts with new clients while also nurturing existing client relationships.Key Responsibilities :Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive offerings. Stay updated on changes in the transportation industry.Generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, referrals, and online research. Build and manage a robust pipeline of potential clients.Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing clients. Ensure client satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional servicesPrepare and present compelling proposals, pitches, and presentations to prospective clients. Customize proposals to meet the specific needs and requirements of each client.Negotiate terms and contracts with clients to secure new business deals. Collaborate with the legal department to ensure contract compliance and mitigate risks.Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals set by the company. Develop and implement strategies to achieve these targetsWork closely with the operations and logistics teams to ensure the smooth execution of contracts and services.
