• Aggressively seeks and initiates new business relationships with non-buying accounts• Solicits and maintains favorable contacts with potential key accounts• Identifies decision makers and understands strategic business challenges• Develops proposals and sales plans• Manages overall prospect relationships• Identifies business opportunities and matches with DHL's services• Coordinates sales efforts with inside sales• Ensures professional sales coordination and account planning• May provide guidance or training to less experienced business development positions
Requirements
• BS/BA in related discipline and 5-10 years experience in related field or MS/MA and generally 3-5 years of experience in related field• Professional certification is required in some areas• High level leadership skills• Strong communication capabilities• Ability to make well-informed decisions
